Gone are the days when you had to own your own boat if you were going to enjoy the water and boating. Gone are the days when owning your own boat was a dream you couldn’t afford. Gone are the days when boating was hereditary, the lessons passed down from generation to generation. Now
anybody can learn to navigate, can charter a boat instead of owning one, or if they do want to own one they can put it into the charter fleet and let charters help pay the cost of ownership. The result is that boating is now open to more people than ever before.
At our inception, we recognized the fact that people wanted to cruise, but the time they had available to use their boat was so limited and in many cases buying a boat was cost prohibitive. So why not charter and enjoy the newest boats on the market and let the cleaning and maintenance up to us. We also noticed that many people were interested in experiencing sailing but these people didn’t know how to learn to sail. Our sailing school offers American Sailing Association (ASA) certification by certified instructors. The ASA recognizes our school with a “GOLD STAR” distinction. We offer the entire range of class from ASA 101, Basic Sailing to ASA 106, Advanced Coastal Cruising. Our instructors are committed to providing the best experience; it’s a promise.
The last piece of the puzzle has been the addition of the fractional ownership and leasing. We offer expert yacht management for owners that would like to share the cost and eliminate the time and ownership hassle. The choices include purchasing a new yacht and offering fractional ownership, purchasing a share from our inventory, or just lease now and purchase later.
The future looks bright and we are happy with the course we’ve set. Sailing into the sunset or across the bay, Sailing Florida is about experiencing the natural beauty of Florida’s West Coast and the exhilaration of boating.
